A training course is defined as a course that involves the assessment of knowledge, clinical skills or both, rather than simply attendance. If attendance/awareness/update is all that is required, please go to Educational Event.
Submitting Information on Lymphoedema Training Courses
This resource has been prepared as a guide for managers, commissioners and practitioners in selecting the most appropriate courses to adequately prepare participants for the role to which they are appointed. Although not comprehensive, it includes a range of available courses, with key information on the level of practice and skill that may be expected on completion of the course or programme.
Some courses focus on the specialist clinical skills, rather than the level of management /service responsibilities, e.g. 'managing own caseload', which should be clear from the description and enable practitioners to determine the nature of the development required by the member of staff who is to be supported through the education programme.
Please note it does not serve to advertise courses or imply endorsement of any of the courses included.
