WANT TO HELP PEOPLE WITH LYMPHOEDEMA IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES?

If you are concerned about discarding once-used or 'out-of-date' garments when they could make a difference to someone in a less developed country please contact Lymphoedema International Health and Development Awareness (LIHDA), a small organisation established by Tamara Kosevic, Lymphoedema Specialist and BLS Member, that has established mechanisms to enable this. Starting with offering free education and providing garments in her own country of Croatia, the work of LIHDA is helping patients in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Peru, Macedonia, Ghana, Tonga and India. Please look at the website for information on how you can help www.lihda.org.
